Founded in 2022 in Hong Kong by Dexter Choi and Fiona Tai, the brand offers a range of products including beaded bags, knitting bags, beaded earrings, and beaded necklaces. The name "D&F Studio" derives from the initials of its two founders, who are not only business partners but also spouses. Both Dexter and Fiona have backgrounds in the fashion industry, with Fiona previously working as a fashion buyer. Apart from her professional endeavors, Fiona's greatest passion lies in shopping, particularly for unique and quirky beadwork fashion pieces. She has a particular fondness for handcrafted beadwork bags and accessories. However, she noticed that existing brands offering handcrafted beadwork bags often came with hefty price tags and limited design options.

Fiona believes that the best handcrafted beadwork fashion pieces should be both affordable and creatively designed, therefore Fiona decided to establish D&F Studio with her husband. Their goal is to provide fun and affordable beadwork fashion pieces to enthusiasts of beadwork art.
